What Attendees Are Saying About CPAPpalooza

I enjoyed hearing the stories from other people that were amazingly close to what I went through. I'm a bit further along in the treatment process than most of them, so I didn't learn to many techniques or strategies that I could implement. There were a lot of opportunities, however, for others to learn. It was obvious that in the past all of us could have used more help getting the CPAP equipment up and running. Looking back at my experience, I believe more support there could have saved at least 6 months. I realize, as you mentioned, that would have a big price tag, but saving all that treatment time might be enough to make up for it. I imagine that would be difficult to calculate and hard to prove to the people paying for it. It sounds like you guys know how to teach that stuff. T. B.

Appropriate format - so happy this was available by Zoom. Conversation among the participants and with Dr. Kim and Kenny - helpful insights from all. It seems everyone felt comfortable sharing their struggles. It was helpful to hear how some issues were resolved. The individual feedback from Dr. Kim and Kenny - priceless! Always encouraging. Always good to get another opinion/viewpoint when you feel stuck and don't know what to do or where to turn next. D.K.

I learned many things from you and Kenny that I was never told by my doctor. I look at sleep apnea sites on Facebook but would never do some of the adjustments to their treatment that some of these people do. I feel safer getting my knowledge from professionals. D. C.

Hi there. I’m KimberlyMD. I look forward to serving a community of engaged sleep apnea patients through live events. My CPAP 101: Start Here course was created to provide CPAP basics. However, each individual is on their own CPAP journey. Unique questions come up - sometimes even months or years after starting on a machine. I will strive to create an inclusive environment that is free of judgment and welcomes questions at all stages of the sleep apnea journey. I look forward to meeting you and I’m thrilled to be on your side as you make your journey to better sleep – and even a better life.

Kenny McCollum

Hi, my name is Kenny. I am a Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) with a Certification in Clinical Sleep Health (CCSH). I have been running sleep studies and working with patients and their CPAP equipment since 2001 in beautiful Portland, Oregon. CPAP therapy can certainly be difficult. If you are a new user, this is especially true. I know, as I am a 20-year CPAP user myself. With so many options and vast amounts of information out there – sometimes misinformation – CPAP therapy can be daunting. Let me use my professional and personal experience to help you succeed. I look forward to answering all your CPAP questions, sharing many tips and tricks and helping you to make CPAP part of a good night’s sleep.
